Serving: 2 - 4 person
Preparation and cooking time: 20 minutes
2 pieces Mud Crabs (Cut and Cleaned)
3 egg white mix with sugar and salt to your preference
1 teaspoon of sesame oil
1 stalk of scallions, finely chopped
Dipping Sauce (optional)
1) Ginger and vinegar
Ginger, sliced into very thin matchsticks
1 tbsp Chin Kiang Vinegar (or any rice vinegar you prefer)
2) Soy Sauce
Step 1: Boil the water in a large steamer.
Step 2: Place crab into a large dish that will fit into the steamer.
Step 3: When water is boiled, place the dish into the steamer, be careful of the hot steam.
Step 4: Steam for 10 minutes. Remove the dish from the steamer.
Step 5: Mix and pour in the egg white with the liquid from the steamed crab and steam for another 4 minutes.
Step 6: Sprinkle scallions and sesame oil to serve.
